United States is always the largest consumption market of Vietnam cashew, February exports to the United States, though declining 27.31% compared with January but including the first 2 months, then export to this market has increased 16.08% of turnover over the first 2 months of 2013, reaching 50.54 million, accounting for 26.34% of the total exports of the country in this group.
China remains the 2nd largest importer of Vietnam's cashew nut export to China in February was a 24.6% decrease compared with the first month, plus a whole 2 months in, reduce turnover 7.21% over the same period, reaching 39.28 million, accounting for 20.48% of total turnover.
Next to 2 market turnover on $ 10 million in two months that the Netherlands and Australia with a turnover of 18.51 million dollars respectively, up by 0.59% and 12.17 million, up 14.78 % over the same period.
In February cashew exports to most markets are declining in value over the first months of the year, but for the whole 2 months of this year turnover growth remained positive in most markets; in which a lot of markets grew over 100% in value over the same period, such as the UK (up 142.3% to U.S. $ 8.52 million); France (up 194.45% to U.S. $ 3.75 million); Italy (increased 101.05% to U.S. $ 2.91 million); Spain (increased 202.57% to U.S. $ 1.84 million); Belgium (up 128.68% to reach $ 1 million); Greece (up 165% to U.S. $ 0.61 million). In contrast, exports to Pakistan and India declined over the same period, with a corresponding reduction in 72.45 and 91.71%.
